We are ambassadors of Christ on earth; we emulate the examples forwarded to us by Jesus Christ. We live in a world where everyone is too busy attending to their personal issues. We’ve therefore taken a bold stance to preach the message of love, which says “Love your neighbour as yourself”. It is time for all the followers of Christ to wake up and reach out to our neighbours.
Questions:
Do you ever imagine the difference you could make to a soul in need of your old clothes, shoes, provision, utensil, accommodation, health services, financial support and your time which can be relevant in counselling a desperate soul who has lost hope in living.

Closome Life Savers provide you an opportunity to tenderly offer the aforementioned support to those in desperate need.
We identify the needy and the giver and create a platform for interface. These meeting are scheduled to run from Mondays –Saturdays.
All contributors fall under the Closome Life Savers Club, everyone is an eligible member. Records of contributions are kept for control purposes.
All members are enjoined to attend the outreach meetings where all the donations received are forwarded to those in need.

OUR PROJECTS

Soup Kitchen
This is aimed at providing daily bread to those who can barely afford a meal. The project launch date is 1st May 2010. It is set to feed a minimum of 100 people. Any donations towards this project will be welcomed.

Health Service
This project is geared towards provision of basic health care to the needy. The scheme operates with aid from volunteer professionals in the health sector ranging from doctors, nurses, paramedics, psychiatrist, pharmacist, laboratory scientist and members who can donate towards this cause.
Closome Life Savers identifies people who are suffering from one ailment or the other, and cannot afford medical services, the volunteers members are able to reach out the needy by offering their services on charity basis.
This organization operates calling to mind the fact that everyone blessed by God with varying expertise is required to give back to God a percentage (%) of that blessings. Closome Life Savers provides a forum where this expertise can be converted to life saving services.

Welfare Service
The project provides a medium where, Government parastatals, professionals in various sectors, busy entrepreneurs, and everyone can reach out to the needy. We appeal to the entire public to forward all disposable and non- disposable items such as clothing’s, shoes, house hold utensil e.t.c. to Closome Life Savers.
These items are giving to the poor/needy in society. We appeal to everyone including persons who have little or nothing to give to make their time available to show love during the outreach programs.
The operational module Closome life savers (welfare service) use takes its origin from the cliché” your old item can be another person new “. We present an opportunity for you to put a smile on someone’s face.
This forum also creates an avenue were employers of labour can reach out to diligent applicants who qualify to fill up job vacancies. We appeal to all Employers of labour to forward their job vacancies to closomelifesavers@gmail.com

JESUS WORDS TO ALL
Jesus Christ has set very high standards of love for us to live by; anything short of this does not show followership. We appeal to everyone to identify a service and reach out to a soul in need.
Matt 25:34-35 Jesus said “Then the king will say to those on his right, come you who are blessed by my father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world, For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was in prison and you came to visit me”.
Jesus concluded this epistle by saying in Matt 25:40 “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you did for me”.


MEMBERSHIP
Everyone is an eligible member, as long as you have something to give out to the needy. These include those who have only their time.
